These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MealVue iOS application ("App"), the mealvue.click website ("Website"), and the MealVue Discord community ("Discord Server"). By using any of these services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MealVue is currently in beta. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Beta testers receive early access in exchange for feedback and bug reports. We make no guarantees about stability, data retention, or feature availability during the beta period.
You must be at least 13 years old to use MealVue. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any device passcodes or credentials associated with your use of the App.
MealVue provides nutrition estimates and health-related information for informational purposes only. We are not a medical provider. The App does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making dietary changes, especially if you have chronic kidney disease, heart conditions, or other health concerns.
Apple HealthKit integration is optional. If enabled, MealVue reads and writes nutrition and clinical data to your personal Apple Health database. You control these permissions through iOS Settings and can revoke them at any time.
You retain ownership of any content you create in the App, including meal photos and descriptions. By using MealVue, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing AI nutrition analysis and app functionality. We do not use your meal photos for advertising or sell them to third parties.
Do not upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, infringing, or harmful to others.
Participation in the MealVue Discord server is a privilege. We expect respectful, constructive behavior. Prohibited conduct includes:
Moderators may warn, mute, or ban users who violate these rules. Decisions are final.
The MealVue Discord bot (if present) provides announcements, feedback collection, and community support. The bot may read messages in public channels for moderation and support purposes. It does not access private messages. Do not share sensitive personal information with the bot.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, Website, or Discord server at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the services at any time. Upon termination, your local app data remains on your device unless you choose to delete it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MealVue and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the services. This includes but is not limited to data loss, health complications, or financial loss.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App, Discord server, or email. Continued use of the services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
